Big Boss Seven : Salman Khan in Double Role for ‘Bigg Boss’ Seven

The seventh season of Colors’ hit reality show “Bigg Boss” is scheduled to begin Sept. 15.

MUMBAI, India

Salman Khan is set to take viewers on a journey of two different worlds in the seventh season of reality television show “Bigg Boss” when it goes on air Sept. 15.

The theme of the latest season of the hit show is heaven and hell. The show’s promos present “Bigg Boss” host Khan in a new avatar — the double role of an angel and a devil, depicting the “Wow of Heaven and Aao of Hell.”

The show usually has 14 contestants from the worlds of television, films, sports, politics and more locked for three months inside the “Bigg Boss” house with cameras watching their every move and no access to the outside world.

Though the contestants for the reality show are yet to be announced, names of popular TV actors Gurdeep Kohli, Pratyusha Banerjee and Kushal Tandon are doing the rounds as likely participants.

Kohli shot to fame as Dr. Juhi in popular TV show “Sanjeevani,” which was based on the life of medical interns. She was seen as a cop in 2012 blockbuster “Rowdy Rathore.”

“I can’t talk about it; I can’t reveal anything,” said Kohli, without confirming or denying her presence in the seventh season of the reality show.

Another talked about name is that of Banerjee, who had stepped into the shoes of popular child star Avika Gor as the grownup Anandi in “Balika Vadhu.” Banerjee also declined to comment about “Bigg Boss.”
Tandon, better known as Virat of “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,” too, was not willing to confirm his participation in the show.

“There are so many people who are approached for ‘Bigg Boss.’ Even I have been approached, but I can’t talk about it as nothing is confirmed yet,” Tandon said.

The show will be aired daily at 9 p.m. IST on Colors channel.
